Our latest partner is now Redbubble.com – a unique company and business model with thousands of different products to choose from.  They’re definitely more than a place for t-shirts!

“A global marketplace for independent artist”

At Redbubble artists are encouraged to submit their art to place on t-shirts, stickers, device cases, posters, and other items. The artist gets to choose which products their work appears on, and set their own pricing, and the artist retains ownership. When the products sell the artist gets a percentage of the sale. Redbubble does all the work for the artist.

This business model isn’t extremely new, but the implementation is. Redbubble.com is open to artists worldwide, with few restrictions. Artistic concepts are, therefore, vast and extremely unique. You can browse their products for hours and not get bored. And, when you see a design you like they provide a link to the artist’s page on Redbubble so you can view their other creations. One of my favorites is an illustrator who goes by “Carbine” – click here to see Carbine’s page.

“Unlike many other sites, Redbubble gives you total control over what you sell your art for. Current Redbubble artists actually earn an average margin of 17% of the retail price, but whether it is 10% or 30%, you get to decide.”
