This 100% cotton flannel offering falls under the ‘Great Lakes MFG CO’ sub-label by Freewheelers, and is packed with beautiful details. Cut slightly oversized for a vintage boxy shape, this ‘pop-over’ shirt features a half button plaque, adorned with custom manufactured nut buttons and ‘Bubo’ stamp. The collar has a vintage style buttoned throat tab, and the shoulders and elbows have been reinforced with an extra layer.
The bold check of the fabric on this design has a unique vintage feel, and is subtle yet eye-catching. A rounded yoke has been featured on this piece for a further touch of heritage detailing, and every stitch on this garment has been made using vintage sewing machines from America, to ensure that everything is as durable as it possibly can be.
